Meet the Team

Natalie

Photographer and Founder

Hey there! I am so happy you are here. I am Natalie, the owner and one of the photographers at Aspen and Sage Photography. We service Idaho’s Treasure Valley and specialize in family, maternity and newborn photography.

My love for photography all started when I was ten years old and my dad converted our family laundry room into a dark room for developing black & white film. In addition to taking our own photographs around the yard, we dug out some old negatives of my mom and her five siblings and spent the summer evenings cramped in that little laundry room making the images come to life.

Although many years have passed since my time spent in pitch black, enlarging negatives on top of the washing machine, it is clear to me that this is when it all started.  This is when I fell in love with photography and began to see it as a precious way to capture memories and look back in nostalgia of times past. It is when I began to love the process of creating images and presenting them to the people who will cherish them as memories. As time moves on, a photograph captures these moments and freezes them for years to come.

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
— Psalm 19:1

Ultimately, my work is only a reflection of the Master Artist and His handiwork, both in the beautiful landscapes I get to photograph, and in the beautiful people He created. This business is ultimately God’s business, and I am blessed to get to be a part of showing the beauty that He wants us to see in everything from a majestic sunset, to the sacrifice of a mother’s love.

I am a follower of Jesus, a wife and mother. Most of my days are spent raising and homeschooling my wonderful kids ages 5, 3, and 2, all while sneaking away a couple times a week to do photo shoots. As a photographer, I would be honored to capture your memories. Please contact me today for information about booking and prices.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time”.
— Ecclesiastes 3:11:

Savannah

Photographer

Hey, I’m Savannah! I have lived in Idaho the past 6 years and am absolutely in love with this beautiful state and wonderfully kind people. I am originally from the Bay Area of California. I am a teacher for my full time job and love spending time teaching 6th graders history, biology, great books, and more!

My fascination with photography began when I was in 3rd grade with my first hot pink point and shoot camera and some disposable water proof cameras on trips to Hawaii with my family. Since then, I took a class in high school and fell in love with capturing my fun and special moments with my high school friends, senior photos, and then my friends engagement photos later in college! Safe to say I have traded in that hot pink point and shoot for something a little more capable.

Madison

Photographer

I’m Madison - I’m a native Idahoan, wife to Rob, and mom to our precious daughter, Isla!

My love for photography started when I was about 8 years old, and my parents gave me a burnt orange Kodak camera for my birthday. I can still vividly remember running around my childhood backyard, capturing flowers, leaves, and anything else I thought was beautiful. Even then, there was something in me that wanted to create something lovely, something that could hold time still.

Jacqueline

Photographer

Hello, I’m Jacqueline!

I moved to Boise in 2025 and thoroughly enjoy living in the Treasure Valley. I grew up with my dad in the military, so I have lived in several places across the West, but Idaho is considered home as my dad's family is from here. When my dad retired, we moved to McCall, where I lived a couple of years before going to Bible school in Florida followed by working at an international missionary K-12 school in Japan for a year.

I have been doing photography since 2019, having devoted lots of time to it in high school, starting a small business after graduation, and then beginning with shooting couples and weddings. I enjoy learning how to express people’s stories and milestone moments through the art of photography.
