Newborn babies grow and change SO FAST! Add in the sleepless nights that often come with a newborn, and the memory of your baby’s newborn features can disappear in a sleep deprived haze. That’s where we come in! As your photographer, our job isn’t just to take pictures. Rather it is to capture a moment, an emotion, a feeling, a look, a memory, and freeze it for all of time.
Now we get it. Professional photos can come with a big price tag. Our hope as your photographer is that you will not just see the price tag, but see this as an investment in keeping memories alive; an investment in capturing your legacy.
In-Home Lifestyle Newborn Photography
You’ve designed, painted and prepped your baby’s nursery, you’ve endured the 9 long months of pregnancy and experienced the pain and thrill of labor and delivery, and now you’ve brought your sweet baby home. Your family has grown as has your heart and the next several weeks, months, and years will be all about getting to know this little person you welcomed into your family.
As a Boise lifestyle newborn photographer, I believe these early days deserve to be remembered exactly as they are. Lifestyle newborn photography is about so much more than documenting your baby's tiny fingers, sleepy yawns, and delicate features. It's about preserving the feelings of this season; the love, connection, and quiet moments with your baby that you will want to remember forever.
My in-home newborn photography sessions are designed to be relaxed and natural, allowing your family to stay comfortable in the place where your story is unfolding. Instead of elaborate props or heavily posed images, we focus on authentic interactions and genuine emotion. We'll photograph your baby nestled in the nursery you lovingly prepared, resting on your bed, cuddled in your arms, or sleeping peacefully in the crib. We also capture the joyful connections between parents, siblings, and your newest family member.
Whether your baby is peacefully asleep or wide awake taking in the world, every session is led at your baby's pace. Simple swaddles, neutral outfits, and the beautiful light in your home create timeless photographs that tell the story of your family's newest chapter.

Studio Lifestyle Newborn Photography?
As an alternative to doing the session in your home, we offer lifestyle newborn session in studio. The studio has beautiful natural light and is set up to be warm and inviting with similar furniture and decor to a home so that it still has the lifestyle feel.
The studio session takes the stress out of feeling like you have to prep your house to be ready for photos. Come to the studio and sit back, relax and get ready to dote on your beautiful baby. Outdoor Newborn Photography
From about May-September in Boise, the weather is typically warm enough that doing a newborn photography session outdoors at the location of your choice is an option. A newborn session outside is pretty similar to our other newborn session in regards to posing and the variety of photos that you get, but instead of those photos taking place in your home, they take place in a beautiful outdoor location.
