Welcome Home, Little One: An In-Home Newborn Session Full of Cuddles (Including Some from the Dogs)
There’s nothing that compares to those first days at home with your new baby—the quiet moments, the cozy snuggles, and the overwhelming love that fills every corner of the house. I had the absolute joy of stepping into this beautiful season with a sweet family.
This in-home newborn session was full of warmth and softness, just like the nursery where the photos were taken. The room was lovingly decorated in delicate tones with thoughtful little details, cozy textures, and warm light streaming through the window. It was a space filled with peace and intention, the perfect backdrop for capturing the quiet magic of newborn life.
Baby girl slept soundly for half of the session and looked on with wide eyed wonder the other half. We took our time, letting her lead the way as I captured the gentlest moments.
And then there were the pups. These two Australian shepherds were so excited and curious about their family’s new addition, keeping close watch over their newest family member. Whether sitting patiently near the crib or gently nuzzling in close during a family cuddle, it was clear they already knew this little girl is someone very, very special.
To this sweet family, thank you for inviting me into your home and letting me document the beginning of your life as a family of five. Your love is beautiful, your home is full of heart, and your baby girl is already so deeply adored.
