I had such a blast capturing West’s senior portraits. West wanted her portraits done in the spring when flowers were in bloom, but needed to submit a photo for the yearbook by January. At the time it was already fall, past prime flower blooming. So I suggested we split her session into a fall shoot and a spring shoot.

Sasha is a sweetheart and was up for anything I threw her way during the session. I had her climbing a tree, frolicking in a field (in heels) and and laying down in the grass.

I have had quite a few families recently contact me about getting newborn photos taken so that they not only have photos of baby as a newborn, but also as a way to introduce baby to family and friends who may not be able to come visit.

I told her my vision for getting some golden hour shots up on the hills at Camel’s Back Park in Boise, but the catch was that she would have to hike up some pretty steep terrain, pregnant, AND in a dress. She shrugged it off and said she was up for the challenge.
