I had such a blast capturing West’s senior portraits. West wanted her portraits done in the spring when flowers were in bloom, but needed to submit a photo for the yearbook by January. At the time it was already fall, past prime flower blooming. So I suggested we split her session into a fall shoot and a spring shoot.

Sasha is graduating from The Ambrose School in Meridian. For her senior portraits we had fun incorporating one of her favorite hobbies, archery. Sasha is a sweetheart and was up for anything I threw her way during the session. I had her climbing a tree, frolicking in a field (in heels) and and laying down in the grass.

One aspect of having a baby during the pandemic that can be so hard is potentially not having relatives or friends able to come visit and meet the baby or help out mom and dad. I have had quite a few families recently contact me about getting newborn photos taken so that they not only have photos of baby as a newborn, but also as a way to introduce baby to family and friends who may not be able to come visit.

With Valentine’s day soon approaching, it seemed like an appropriate time to share this cozy couple session taken last fall along the Boise River. The fun thing about this session is that Frankie contacted me and wanted to gift the session his girlfriend Maicee. Maia and Brandon’s June 2020 wedding took place at the Fourth Street Gardens in Emmett, Idaho. The day started out with a literal bang when we woke up to thunder and lightning. It proceeded to pour rain the entire morning and into early afternoon, so if what they say about rain being good luck on your wedding day is true, then Maia and Brandon are surely set for a lifetime!
