A Growing Bump Among Spring Lupine | Boise Maternity Session

May is one of my favorite months for photography in Boise. The landscape is waking up, wildflowers are beginning to bloom, and everything turns vibrant green. For this beautiful Boise maternity session we met in a meadow nestled between the foothills and shot the first few pictures alongside a creek. Then we climbed up into the hills to a beautiful view of spring lupine. These photos were to celebrate a very special season of waiting—because these parents weren't expecting just one baby.

They were expecting twins.

Surrounded by soft purple wildflowers and the fresh colors of spring, we documented the anticipation of their family doubling overnight.

Looking back at these photographs now, knowing the two tiny babies from this session have since arrived, makes these images feel even more meaningful.
