Meadow Maternity Session at Golden Hour

We met at a quiet meadow trail, just as the light began to turn golden. Mama-to-be wore a lace gown that contrasted beautifully with the green grass and trees. Mama was glowing with beauty and joy and her husband stood her side admiring her. Also joining them was their loyal German Shepherd, Rudi, who stood by protectively. The couple bought an adorable onesie for baby that said “protected by Rudi” and there is no denying that she will take that roll gladly.

As we moved from the open meadow to a higher vantage point on the hillside, the view opened up and the sunset painted the sky with pastel hues—soft peach and turquoise blue. It was the perfect backdrop for those final few frames of the evening. The wind picked up and the breeze was a little chilly, but the light wrapped around them like a warm embrace, and we captured the kind of moments that feel like a pause in time.

I love capturing maternity sessions not just for the beauty of motherhood, but the love, anticipation, and connection that surround it. These two (soon to be three!) are stepping into a brand-new season, and I feel so honored to have helped them remember this time.
