There’s something so timeless about simple, neutral tones paired with a bright, airy backdrop—and this family’s maternity session was the perfect example of just that.
We met in the beautifully lit Boise Urban Studio which is an amazing space with a white brick wall and white planked floor. Soft natural light poured through the windows and wrapped this sweet family of five in the dreamiest glow. With a baby girl on the way, this was such a special time to capture—one last set of portraits before they grow by two little feet.
The family came dressed in coordinating neutrals, which couldn’t have complemented the space more perfectly. Mom, dad, and the boys all wore jeans with white or cream shirts, keeping the look classic and cohesive. Big sister stood out in the sweetest cream dress, a subtle way to set her apart while still blending seamlessly with everyone else.
The simplicity of the wardrobe let their connections shine through—snuggles, giggles, and so much excitement for their baby sister’s arrival. The kids climbed into dad’s arms, wrapped around mom’s growing bump, and filled the studio with energy that only siblings can bring.
